Membership Criteria
International Finance and Law Institute (IFLI) membership is by invitation only and through the recommendation of at least two current members. A key strength of IFLI is its exclusivity and the quality and credential of IFLI members. To maintain these unique characteristics, we have established a Membership Committee to review and decide on all new member applications. The Committee has three members. They are responsible for review and approve all new member applications. Our primary targeted new members are:
• Investment professionals with more than five years of experience
• Other finance professionals with CFA credentials or equivalent
• Legal practitioners with more than five years of experience in financial or corporate law
• Other professionals with comparable responsibilities and impacts at senior vice president or director level or above
IFLI is an organization of leaders. We value leadership skills and experience both from regular jobs and from commitments in community and professional organizations outside of regular jobs. In addition, we also value candidates who have accumulated experience in multiple career tracks across different parts of the industries because that is how the majority of our current members have progressed through their careers.
If you are interested in joining IFLI, we hope that you already know some current members through your professional or social contacts. In general, we do not accept unsolicited new member application.
