About International Finance and Law Institute
The International Finance and Law Institute (IFLI) is established to provide a platform for worldwide finance and financial law professionals to network, share information and experience, exchange views on financial and legal issues, to promote the development of international financial and legal systems, and to nurture industry leaders. The purpose of our organization is to educate, to learn, to share, and to develop.
IFLI is a non-profit organization. Its membership is by-invitation-only and restricted to achieved professionals in the field of international finance and financial law.
IFLI organizes annual IFLI Conference for its members and interested professionals in the fields of finance and financial law.
The IFLI annual conference serves as a forum where achieved individuals from academia, business and government can get together to discuss economic, finance, legal and political issues and engage in cross-disciplinary dialogue. The inaugural meeting of IFLI was held on April 23-25, 1999 in New York City, New York, USA. Thirty five members of IFLI attended the inaugural meeting.
IFLI also publishes a quarterly journal, International Finance and Law Institute Journal (IFLI Journal). The primary purpose of the IFLI Journal is to exchange ideas, facilitate cross-disciplinary dialogue, and popularize abstract ideas for purpose of education and development. The inaugural issue of IFLI Journal was published in March 2000.
IFLI Outstanding Achievements Award is established to honor outstanding individuals who have made significant achievement in the field of finance and financial law on a global basis. The Award was launched in 2000, with the support from various individual, corporate and government sponsors.
Since its inception, IFLI has established itself as a leading organization in the field of international finance and financial law. IFLI will continue to build strong working relationships with major businesses and organizations internationally.
